 As you can see from the information above standards and attainment have risen each year and the Junior School is increasingly more able to build upon the very high KS1 outcomes. The 2018 age related expectation outcomes were above national averages for all subjects. We were also very pleased with the outcomes for our pupils achieving greater depth,  which again were significantly above all national figures.

The Primary School Performance tables provide the Reading, Writing & Maths combined figures and the progress measure only. The Progress measure is a calculation from a pupil’s end of key stage 1 outcomes to their end of key stage 2 outcomes.   As you may be aware, the National Curriculum changed in 2014 and the progress measure is still currently measuring the progress between the old curriculum, and the far more challenging new curriculum. Despite the greater challenge, significant gains in the progress measures were made in outcomes between 2017 and 2018. Further significant increases in our progress measures remain an area of focus for the school going forward.
