Homework:

English activities will uploaded to SPAG.com on Fridays to be completed by the following Thursday. In addition to SPAG.com the children will be set reading comprehensions, which will be marked on Fridays as a class. Maths homework will continue to be set via Mathletics. Your child’s Mathletics passwords will stay the same as they had in year 4. The logins and passwords will be sent home in due course.

If you require a paper copy of the homework, please ask your child’s teacher.

Spellings are given out every half-term. The children are tested every Friday. The spelling book will be sent home so that you can keep track of how your child is doing. Please help us by making sure that your child brings their spelling test book back to school on Mondays.

 Working together

At the Bedonwell Federation we are passionate about working as a team with parents and carers to support the learning and wellbeing of every child. If you have any questions, queries or information that you wish to discuss with us, please do not hesitate to speak to your child’s class teacher or the Head of Year. You can leave a message at the school office, write a note in your child’s reading journal or speak to the member of staff at the end of the school day.

We look forward to working with you and your child this year.
